What it is
Boho Beach Hut is a direct to consumer e commerce business we own and operate.
It is a real trading business, not a portfolio piece: catalogue, payments, fulfilment, advertising, customer service and the reporting that tells us whether any of it is working.
What running it has taught us
Running it has given us hands on experience with large product catalogues, payments, fulfilment, analytics, advertising systems, customer journeys, integrations, international commerce, and the software required to keep those systems working together.
E commerce is mostly an integration problem wearing a storefront. The platform, the payment processor, the fulfilment provider, the ad platforms and the analytics stack all hold overlapping data and none of them agree by default.
Reconciling that, and knowing which number to trust when they disagree, is a practical skill rather than a theoretical one.
Why it is relevant to client work
When we advise on tracking, attribution, catalogue structure or fulfilment integration, it comes from operating a business where getting it wrong costs us money directly.
